About the Loft
The Loft is a Supper Club and it is my personal test kitchen where I am hosting weekly tasting menu events every Friday and Saturday. It will be a platform for new ideas for my next restaurant; Viajante at the Bethnal Green Town Hall scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2010.
The menus will change frequently and each event will hold a maximum of 16 guests. The future will bring collaborations with artists that help create the theme and the mood for each event. It will be a part gallery, part supper club all with a strong focus on food. The format is simple; I will offer a tasting menu with drinks pairing that will change per event. The cost is £100 per person and it will be covered by the membership.
Bookings can be done for 1 to 16 guests and I encourage small groups so that there is more chance to mingle with other guests.
Applying for membership to The Loft is very easy, just download a membership form from the link bellow and email me to request a booking date and the number of guests on your party. Once the booking is confirmed and payment is done, just bring the filled out form on the day of the event. Payment may only be made by bank transfer or cash and guests will be issued an email receipt and confirmation. You will soon be able to pay your membership fee directly through my site using Paypal.
For the rest of the week the space will be available for private functions including cocktail parties with or without food service and cooking classes.
